Fantech 428551 is a filter kit for Fantech heat recovery ventilators (HRV). The kit contains 2 pleated media filters with HEPA efficiency. The filters will collect dust, debris, lint, and insects.

Your equipment has two mandatory filters (one set of two):
Basic Mandatory: MERV 3 efficiency rating - Fantech 428520 for both exhaust air and supply air. The original filters included with your equipment.

Additionally, you can add one of three optional filters to improve your air quality:
Good: MERV 8 efficiency rating - Fantech 428526.
Better: MERV 13 efficiency rating - Fantech 428548.
Best: HEPA - Fantech 428551 (this page).
